SIZING GUIDE
Finding your
perfect fit
Because every Desert Moon gown is made to order, choosing the correct size is one of the most important parts of your order.
We recommend comparing your body measurements to our sizing chart rather than relying on your usual Australian clothing size.
Not sure? We're always happy to help you choose the right size before ordering or do full custom sizing.

Between Sizes?
Need Custom Sizing?
Custom sizing may be the best option if you:
-
Fall between standard sizes
-
Have a petite or taller frame
-
Have a fuller bust or different body proportions
-
Are concerned about gown length
-
Want the closest possible fit before alterations
All Desert Moon Bridal gowns apart from the ready-to-wear options can be made to your individual measurements
Most designs can also be custom made smaller than a size 4 AU or larger than a size 26 AU

Why do we ask for your height?
Even when ordering a standard size, we recommend including your height measurements with every order.
This allows our team to ensure your gown's length and overall proportions are as accurate as possible for your height.
Providing accurate height measurements is especially important for gowns featuring floral appliqué, lace edging or detailed hems, as excessive shortening can alter the placement or design of these decorative details.
Please provide:
• Your height (barefoot & wearing your wedding shoes)
• Hollow-to-hem measurement (barefoot & wearing your wedding shoes)
Providing these measurements helps us achieve the best possible fit and may reduce the amount of hemming required after your gown arrives.

Important things to note
-
Alterations
Almost every bridal gown requires minor alterations for the perfect fit. We recommend allowing room in your budget for adjustments such as hems, bust fit or bustle additions.
-
Weight Changes
Our gowns are made to the size supplied when you order. Desert Moon Bridal cannot accept responsibility for body changes between ordering and delivery.

Measuring Tips
Have someone else measure you while standing naturally. Take a firm bust and waist if ordering a corset back dress. If you are doing full custom sizing then we recommend getting professional measurements

Even if you're ordering a standard size, we recommend including a few additional sleeve measurements when purchasing a gown with fitted long sleeves, such as Esther, Luna or Nyx.
Providing these measurements allows our team to achieve a more accurate sleeve fit and helps ensure the sleeves are proportioned correctly to your body.
Please include:
• Upper Arm Circumference (Bicep)
• Arm Length
• Armhole (Armscye)
Supplying these measurements can help minimise alterations and improve the overall comfort and fit of your gown.
